Urban landscaping and the design of public space is both a virtual and concrete culture. This space becomes also a symbol of individuality. Of course the personality of space must integrate into the larger form. A particular size must be accommodated, as well as a matrix of purposes. Uniform lighting should be achieved, for example, an outdoor walking street should not contradict the form or function of interior high traffic flows, neither should monotony allow any space to be lost. The population should both act upon and be acted on by the design of public space.
Large and small spatial elements should work together in forming a systematic conception of space. Especially in implementing urban architecture the goal is not to be unique. The goal is not to mold urban space into a symbol. The city is neither a purely functional form. The city merges with the people to form and inform modern life; the antithesis of the awkward plastic palm trees, creations are not static. Rather the urban environment synthesizes the very expression of the contemporary protagonist in its needs and promise. Through this the population feels more energized toward creativity and production. Every aspect of each element is anaphoric with the environment as a whole.
